I remember loving Manchester Orchestra when “I’ve Got Friends” came out, Or if you’re a real OG, “ Play it again, Sam you don’t have any feathers”. The lyrics are unsettling and desperate on both.

I don’t know where I’ve been, but they’ve just kept plugging along since those releases and their latest album is exceptional. “Keel Timing” works because they’ve become masters of dynamics, and the lyrics still smack you in the face.
