Bio

I grew up in a family of six in the St. Louis, MO metro area and lived there until I was seven. I then moved to St. Charles, MO, a town roughly 20 minutes from the downtown area. My parents were both musicians; my mom is a classically-trained pianist and a piano teacher while my dad is a singer-songwriter as well as an artist.

I started piano lessons at age seven and hated it for the first two years. My mom and dad insisted I not quit until I was actually decent at piano, and by the time I hit age 10 I was really enjoying playing music and kept with it.

In highschool, I attended Providence Fine Arts School in St. Louis County, doing choir, orchestra, small ensemble and more. I also began playing at my church, Grace Church St. Louis.

At graduation, I formed a rock band, Watching Judas, with some friends and spent six years recording and touring in the midwest.

Jump to 2011, I married my beautiful wife, Sarah. I worked as a music director at Trinity Church Of The Nazarene in St. Louis while also still producing music and performing as a solo pianist. Sadly, Watching Judas broke up later that year due to changes in many of our lives. It will always be a time in my life I will treasure and miss deeply.

In the summer of 2014, Sarah and I decided to make the jump and move to Nashville, continuing the pursuit of a career in music. I quickly began working with artists in the Country and Contemporary Christian music world, touring early on with John Berry, Francesca Battistelli, Rebecca St. James, and many more. Both my children were born during this time; Jackson (2016) and Kendra (2020). I later toured and played shows with Tracy Lawrence, Matthew West, Rachael Lampa, Kris Allen, and more.

In 2024, I came off the road full time, having played 1200+ shows since moving to Nashville. Iā€™m currently focusing on session keyboard work and producing music while also being around my family more.

I have been lucky enough to play for 11 Grammy-nominated/winning artists, 17 Dove/K-Love Award nominees/winners and play many iconic venues, including the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry.
