Most musicians I know (including myself) rarely think about what happens to our customers after we've finished working for them.
What's the chatter like around the bar the day after your show there? What will they remember you by? What will stick with them about you for the next week? Or month? Will they even remember your name a year from now?
We should start thinking about what we want to remembered by, talked about, and hired back for a long time before we even show up to play.
