MainStage Mondays: Figure Out What’s Eating Your Memory

MainStage stores a ton of samples in memory during a set, and up until a few month’s ago it was impossible to find out which patches were the memory hogs. Along came MainStage 3.2, and a bunch of small tweaks including the ability to view memory usage per patch. Here’s how: 

1. Open MainStage. Select a template. 

2. Your patches will probably look like this: 

3. Under Patch List, select “Show Memory Usage”

4. Now your patch should look like this:
