Calculating your Best Work
The formula for how good your best work today might be:
1.Your best effort today, given the limits of your life, multiplied by:
2. how many days in the past you’ve been able to pull off your best effort, minus:
3. How physically, emotionally, or mentally stressed you are, multiplied by:
4. How much training you’ve had, how stable/creative your environment is, and how much support you’ve received over your lifetime by people that care about you.
Interestingly, raw talent isn’t what we’re talking about. It’s the base structure, but it’s doesn’t build the house.
Once you see a pattern, you can start cultivating a better best work.
